I am unable to send money to friends and family via PayPal Credit

Good day,

Today Sept 25th 2022 I attempted (many times) to send money to a friend via PayPal Credit.

Three days ago; I was able to successfully send money to my brother via PayPal Credit.

Here are the steps I can complete:

Enter email address.

Enter amount of money.

Select Business or Family tab.

Security Code is sent to my phone and I enter it.

Screen refreshes and  the window shows:

Sorry we are unable to process your request at this time, yada, yada, try later.

Is there a technical issue on Sundays?

Is there a limit to number of PayPal Credit transactions per week/month?

(I haven't found any such restrictions in FAQ)

Under my transactions tab is the transaction three days ago to my brother with "Repeat Transaction" link,

So I clicked that as a test and same result...Sorry we are unable to process your request at this time, yada, yada, try later.

I do not get to the page that offers the method of payment. (PayPal Credit)

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post!
 

I do understand your frustration with this. PayPal Credit cannot be used to send money to Friends and Family. 

PayPal Credit is a payment product which can be used for online transactions, and sending payments for Goods and Services. 

I understand you already sent a payment to your brother. This either happened due to a system glitch, or you did not send the payment as Friends and Family. 

If you want to send a payment to your Friend or Family member, you would need to use your bank account/card linked to your account.

In the US PayPal credit CAN be used to send friends and family money.

24 hours alter it went through, must have been a system error or maintenance issue.
