I sent a transfer from Revolut to my Paypal balance, and Paypal claims they can't find the money.

In my PayPal account, I clicked to add money to my balance and was given a Deutsche Bank IBAN to transfer from my bank.

I sent money from Revolut to this IBAN, and the transfer completed within a few minutes. I have a confirmation document with a transfer reference number from Revolut. My name and address is the same in both accounts.

Since the money didn't arrive in my PayPal account, I contacted support and was told that it can't be found, and that I should contact my bank.

I did that, and Revolut confirmed the transfer went through. 

Again, I talked to PayPal and was told they can't see the money and that I should ask Revolut to cancel the transfer, which is impossible since it was completed already.

Basically, PayPal stole my money and is saying it disappeared.

Welcome to the PayPal community. 

 

I am sorry to hear about what has been happening. If the payment is showing as completed on Revolut and we are not able to locate it on PayPal then I would recommend that you ask Revolut to recall the payment. Generallly this will only happen if information you entered is incorrect or the names don't match. If everything is entered correctly and we are not able to locate the payment for you Revolut will have the option to recall the payment back and return the funds to you.

How was it solved? Did Paypal send the amount back to Revolut? How long did it take?

Yes, after a lot of back and forth, it eventually went back to Revolut. It took about a week.
