I sent money to the wrong user name well that is what I have been told can someone have same user name with different email address or can there be multiple same account names

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post.
I do understand your concern with this. A user can only have PayPal account per email address. If you sent the payment to the correct email address, the user would have received it. When a payment is sent to an email address that is not registered/not confirmed on our system, it will show as Pending in your PayPal account. You can check the status of the payment in your PayPal 'Activity' page.
