I use online name instead of a real one for safety reasons , help

Hello! So I've been using PayPal for like a year now going by my "online name" because I shared it to my Instagram. But now I can't receive any payments anymore and they're asking me to verify my identity which I did multiple times in the past. Apparently it doesn't let me do that anymore.. I don't want my followers or anyone to know my real life name for safety or bullying reasons. I don't know what to do... Can anyone help me and suggest what I can do to fix my PayPal and still go by my online name instead of the real one?

I have had this problem as well, it doesn’t make sense to me, since my actually name is on my document.

I actually just got an email that my account has been permanently terminated.. Like what.. I haven't even done anything wrong..

If the name on the account is not a name that was ever your legal name, it is not likely that a name change will be possible. Names can be changed on an account in the following circumstances:

A legal name change

A minor misspelling

And in the case of an account for a registered business, a change in the designated contact for the company.

Changing from a fictitious name to a legally recognized name is not something that is supported. If the account is not currently limited, you may wish to close the account and open an account using the correct information.

Its against paypal rules to use a fake name on a legal, financial paypal account.

Well I didn't know that. I had that name on for a year now and everything worked until then I could even still verify my identity properly (I have no idea how but it did let me do it) and I can't delete account and start another one I'm literally banned from PayPal right now they won't let me make a new account. They really should implement an option for your legal name to not show to the creeps on the internet if you wish for it to not show. Cause this is ridiculous. I'm supposed to risk my real life safety by putting my name in there and they don't even let me fix my mistakes and instead end up banning me like I'm some kind of criminal when all I wanted was to take care of myself..
