I was suddenly refunded payments from long ago

I was suddenly refunded Etsy payments from long ago (a little longer than three months, to be exact.), even though I have received the items in a timely fashion. Why has this happened? I would like to cancel the refund and send the money back to the sellers that I paid.

You are correct that it is a little strange to receive refunds on payments without asking for them, but it may be the seller issued the refunds by mistake. The best approach would be for you to contact the seller via Etsy. You would need to work with them to return money via a new payment. There is no option to cancel a refund.
