Linked card has expired, can't receive payment?

I am supposed to receive a payment from my employer, CW. Still haven't received it, does it have to do with the expired card linked on my PayPal account? If so, I already linked a new card and verified it, will I receive the payment anytime now? or should I contact my employer about it?

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues receiving a payment from your employer. If you've already linked and confirmed a card on your account, and your email address is confirmed, I would recommend asking your employer if they have sent it to the right email address.
