I just tried to buy a hat and a jacket, before completing the payment, the hat was sold out. I proceeded to remove it from the cart and continued with my payment. Paypal says that it completed a transaction of 130$ but from the amount that I paid from my bank was 170.59€ which was the price including the hat. Now I have a pending 170.59€ payment in my paypal, aswell as the 130$ that was already paid according to paypal
When you pay a company then it is often pending or awaiting authorisation until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.
If they don't process the order and capture that payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment and returns back to your funding source.
