I purchased a game through the GameStop website using PayPal via my Mastercard. I decided to returned the game in store. When in store, they asked me to swipe the card I used to make the purchase to process the refund, which was my Mastercard. I guess my question is, does it matter if my original purchase was done through PayPal? I am a little concerned because I don’t see the return reflected on my GameStop account and I don’t see a pending refund on my Mastercard statement and also nothing on my PayPal. Thank you guys for any insight.

If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card.
Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account and a bit longer for a card, Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long.
(Can vary according to country though).
