Paid with gift card for ammazon order,same ammount came out of paypal, why?

I made an order with amazon and paid using a Amazon gift card.we then found that the same amount had been taken from our PayPal account.How can this happen and who do we contact for a refund. Thanks Derek

Amazon does not accept paypal, that is unless you own a paypal debit or credit card.

Yes I know Amazon don't do paypal, the money came out of the account attached to my PayPal account,i ordered from Amazon but how do you find out who supplied my order ,they may have some idea  because they have been paid twice for the same order.
