Paying with PayPal, won't recognize my wallet!

When I try checking out with PayPal, a few times it logs me in, then takes me to the Add a credit or debit card to your wallet screen to pay. I add my Discover, and the wheel spins and says processing, but takes me back to the same screen.
I'm perplexed. I have the card I want to use as my default card in my wallet. I've tried different browsers. I tried logging out and doing this. Nothing works! This has happened for different merchants too. Google, Home Depot, Staples. The other day I made 2 purchases at Staples, the first one it recognized my wallet and I was able to pick the correct card, but then I forgot to buy something and did another transaction, and when I went to pay with PayPal, it would not recognize my wallet again and I couldn't pay with PayPal.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Welcome! I'm sorry to hear you've been running into some speed-bumps making a payment recently. You're on the right track trying different browsers. I would recommend clearing their cache, cookies, and history, and then logging on directly through PayPal.com to see if the card you want to use is in your Wallet. If it is, I'd recommend Confirming it. If it's not, you may want to add it and then confirm it. Hopefully your payments go through without a hitch after that.

Everything was already cleared. After it didn't work in incognito I cleared everything. I tried on a different computer. I tried the mobile app. Nothing worked. The card was existing on the account, worked fine before. I just can't check out because it doesn't pull up my wallet. If I log into Paypal all my cards and accounts are there. It just doesn't pull up the ability when I go to check out on google or whatever online system I'm using. I even tried pulling all my cards out and readded only the 1 card I want to use, still doesn't work. I have no option to confirm the card, so it auto confirms per the link you sent (If you don't see the link, your card is automatically confirmed and you don't have to complete this process.).
I instead then logged in with my wife's account, and presto, the wallet pops up with all options, and paid with her discover. Her account went through just fine.
I feel like theres an issue with my account at some level thats not letting me do this.... It doesn't even pull up the option to pay with my linked checking account.
