RECEIVED PAYMENT BUT NOT SHOWING IN BALANCE

Received money late yesterday but it is not showing on balance. I can see the received amount under my activity and it shows as pending. I've reached out to the person who sent it and they see it as pending too but the money has not posted to their paypal. These are USD funds. Is this a known issue? How soon can I expect my funds to be available?

Pending as in an echeque OR on hold? Is there a clearance date?

Neither one. Just pending. Should I request the money again? I would hate for the sender to be charged twice but seeing as both accounts say pending I don't know if it will ever process.

Thanks for the help @kernowlass! I understand your concern about the pending payment in your account. It's possible that the payment you have received is under review as PayPal system review every transaction to make sure they were authorized. While the payment is under review, it will be in pending status. It usually takes 24-8 hours to complete the review and release the money in your balance, but may extend to 48 hours depending on the transaction. I suggest you to wait till the required time frame. If the payment is past the time frame and still in pending status, please reach out to PayPal Support team to get this checked further.
