Re-activating/creating a cancelled recurring payment with new payment date

I cancelled a recurring payment as the payment date wasn’t appropriate. I am trying to reactivate it / set it up afresh but every time I click ‘agree and continue’ on PayPal after being redirected from the vendor I am taken back to the vendor’s page and no new payment is set up. How do I fix this?

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to active the recurring payment again, it has to be done from merchant website and it show up as new recurring payment as once the payment is cancelled it cannot be activated again as you have to initiate a new recurring payment from merchant website.

Thanks for your reply. 

That’s what I tried to do but it wouldn’t work. I started off on the merchant’s website and when I hit the pay button for PayPal it took me to the PayPal site. Once on PayPal and setting up the payment, after I clicked agree and continue on PayPal it took me straight back to the merchant’s website. No new recurring payment setup. 

Any ideas?
