Receipt when money is received

How do I see if money has been "picked up"? The wallet has no indication whether or not money was actually received "cashed". Why is there no status update? It's all very vague.

Money received where?

To your balance?

To your bank account?

To a seller?

To a recipient?

To your card?

Everywhere really. But I was talking about money I sent as a gift and also to pay back a loan. Two different transactions, two different people. I have no idea if either one of them has actually received the money. I see the activity in my bank account but have no idea if they have their money.

Did you send via paypal or xoom?

If paypal then what does it say on the transactions in your paypal account?

It was PayPal. It doesn't say anything, only that I sent the money. PayPal used update the status to say the money was collected.

If you sent funds to someone it would say payment / completed / sent or unclaimed / uncleared etc.

No it doesn't anywhere. That's why I posted the question. I can't attach a screenshot or I would show you.

We are going around in circles here. Thanks for trying to help. I'm going to stop using PayPal altogether because of the lack of status updates on my money, the amount of ads and the other convoluted processes. Even asking this question was more difficult than necessary with to the logging in every time to respond. Totally ridiculous.
