Hi there, I cannot find my refund balance from SHEIN in my PayPal Wallet nor my Card Bank Account. I understand that SHEIN has done their part and sent the refund to PayPal on the 8th of October successfully… but how come I cannot find the balance on my wallet/my card bank account? (It’s the 23rd of October now.) Please explain, reassure and help. I’m confused and worried. Thank you.
Do you see a refund transaction in your PayPal account activity marked as completed? If you paid with card, it takes a week, up to 30 days for card issuer to post it.
Did you originally pay through PayPal guest checkout or with a PayPal account??
Thank you for your help. I’m glad to hear that the wait is Normal, I was starting to worry. And Yes, It’s on my PayPal account and it says completed. I paid with my PayPal Account 🙂
If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card. Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account and a bit longer for a card, Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long. (Can vary according to country though).
