Social media link and other fees

Hi I'm trying to understand the difference in fees that PayPal charges for different services. I'm not on a business account and I'm UK based. I recently bought a zettle 2 card reader and believe the charges are 1.75% per transaction when paying in person by card. Zettle invoicing is 2.5% And QR code is 1.75% if £10.01 and above, or 2% if £10.00 and below. Then it gets a bit confusing as there is a payment link through zettle that I believe is 2.5%, however I've accessed a payment link not using zettle but through my PayPal account through App - Social Media Link which I thought was 2.5% but now I believe it may be 2.9%? but I'm unsure, and I also read how PayPal also charge 1.2% +30p per transaction. They claim everything is transparent but it's far from straightforward. Can anyone help confirm what the rates are for each thing. I have tried to contact PayPal but I can't find out how to as the sections in the help part don't cover things and I need a reply in writing. Hoping someone can help clarify the situation, preferably a PayPal representative. Thanks

Zettle has their own fees and PayPal business/selling tools have their own, go to PayPal UK homepage and then scroll to the bottom to click “Fees” link for PayPal specific fees.

On the fees page, hit the Merchant tab and click “Commercial Transaction Rates”. The social media link, Invoicing, PayPal buttons, goods and services payments sent via Send button would fall under the “All Other Commercial Transactions”.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
