I have done my formal complaint after getting the runaround from paypal over my 29th of April deposit that I had to sell items that are irreplaceable to pay my rent so my toddler and I aren't homeless or dead. I calked the irs 3 days I waited and they told me the funds were sent back to them and will issue a check. I loved paypal customer service in the past when someone tried to wipe my accounts out but now they are just circle jerks with a generic answer. I obtained everything and asked questions they could answer but got a check in the mail with 0 communication through a place that can't organize. I hope everyone gets somewhere and they get their **bleep** together.

My girlfriend listed my PayPal account as her direct deposit for the pandemic stimulus check. According to the IRS website it was deposited on the 13th of this month. It never showed up on my account. My check was scheduled to deposit on the same day, in the same account, and appeared on schedule. Why does her check say it was deposited if it never showed up? Has anyone else had this problem? Does anybody know how to fix it?
Really? That’s interesting. Paypal may not have allowed it to go through because her name was on the deposit and the account was your name, if that’s the case then they would have sent it back to the IRS which means you should be getting a check in the mail. OR, it was deposited as it says and Paypal just took the money like everyone else is thinking has happened. If that’s the case then I don’t know what in the heck we can do other than filing a civil suit or just horribly waiting it out until we get our letters from the IRS telling us exactly where our money went. Let’s all hope and pray to God that our checks are being mailed back to the IRS and then mailed to our addresses we have listed. It’s so upsetting not knowing where our money is. Like we all don’t have enough to worry about already?!
