Tells Me To Log In To My Bank (Scotiabank) but Doesn't Send Notification

So a few days ago I saw that I spent more money on Paypal than I had in my bank account, so when Paypal went to take out the money it couldn't until I put in more. This has NEVER happened to me before. After that happened, every time I try to use my bank account to pay, it tells me ''Log Into Your Bank'' in this case Scotiabank, and so I log in, and then it tells me it sent me a notification to my Scotiabank App and I need to verify by clicking ''Yes it's me'' so that they can verify my bank. However the notification never comes.

I already reached out to Paypal and they were useless, basically just said that there must be a problem with the transaction. This is not the case at all, it won't let me use my bank account on any site and it never sends the notification when I try to verify the bank.

I already deleted the bank account off my account and then re-connected it. And that didn't work either.

Hi Kalydia,

I am having a very similar issue..

I am with Coast Capital Savings and every transaction I try to make with this account I am required to log in the authenticate my bank.

Everytime I log in it says my information is wrong (even when its not!).

PayPal basically told me there is nothing they can do and aren't willing to help. I have contacted the partner in charge of this security feature (Yodlee) and they have told me that PayPal needs to contact them to verify.. PayPal refuses thus far.. good luck.

I use PayPal for everything and can't make any online purchases without it so very frustrating.

I hope you get your answers soon.
