This type of number is not supported

I have had two checks from my job deposited into my PayPal account. My phone number got updated at the same time the first check got deposited. When I try to do anything... Transfer, send, add a new card, pay online, order a new debit card, it says the same thing. " This type of number is not supported." I can not access any of my funds. This has been going on for TWO weeks. I've called every day sometimes twice. Even supervisors can not help. They say it takes up to 72 hours for the computer to recognize the new number. It's been 2 weeks. Also the automated system recognizes it when I call it says we recognize the number you are calling from. The money from my job is all I have and I can not access it to get gas, my medicine, nothing. No further checks will be going on this account. I just need Help figuring out how to get the money that's on there now. Thank you.

I can certainly understand the importance of being able to access your funds in a timely manner. Based off of the information provided, it sounds like the phone number on file is not verified. Here is how to Confirm a Phone number. Additionally, if you have completed the 72 hour wait time you may be able to remove the phone number from the account before attempting to complete any account action.
