VRBO Payment query

I have used paypal to book with VRBO but it says my card will be charged when they complete this order. How can I remove this as it looks as though the payment hasn't gone through and I would like to pay with my card instead

I am happy to help you with your inquiry about your recent purchase. When you attempt a payment using PayPal, the amount will be held temporarily in your PayPal and card account. This is called authorization which will be in pending status until merchant captures the payment and process your order. Authorizations typically expire in 30 days. You can reach out to the merchant to get this authorization canceled.
