Why can't I transfer money to myself?

I have two accounts with two different banks connected to my paypal. I would like to send money from one account to the other. Why does it not allow me to send money to myself from one account, so that I can transfer it back into the other bank account?

Do you mean you have 2 paypal accounts and can't send the funds from one to the other?

If so then paypal only allow you to have 2 paypal accounts if x1 is personal and the other x1 is a business account.

If you have 2 of the same type then that may cause an issue.
