hello. so i made a payment via H&M which was pending for 3 days until they cancelled it. will i receive the funds back because the transaction is no where on my bank statement nor in my paypal history so i'm a bit worries

When a transaction is Pending, your bank/card would not have been charged. If there was a Pending transaction on your PayPal account or bank/card, once it was cancelled it would have been removed.
If you check your bank/card you will see you were not charged. Due to this, no refund would be issued.
