miscellaneous payment

Hello,

Yesterday I received a miscellaneous payment from Paypal on my Scotiabank debit card. This transaction doesn't show up on Paypal itself. I'm not sure where this payment came from and I'm just really confused.

Thinking about it there was a charge for an eBay purchase but that order has been cancelled a week ago and still took my money

Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear you've come across an unrecognized transaction on your debit card. Normally, if you have an issue with a transaction on your PayPal account, and you can see it in your PayPal activity, you should see an option to dispute the transaction through our Resolution Center. However, if you do not see the transaction on your PayPal account, we'd normally recommend reaching out to your debit card to see what options are available.
