my friend hasn't received my payment

I sent money to a friend's paypal account 3 days ago and she still hasn't received the money. She's used the same account to send me money before so I don't know why something has gone wrong this time. The money's been taken from my account but where has it gone to?! Genuinely so confused as her email and number are connected to her account and like I said i have used my account and hers to make a previous transaction.

Double check the email address that you sent it to and make sure there were no spelling errors?

What does it say next to the transaction on your paypal account ie SENT or PENDING/UNCLAIMED AND IS THERE A CANCEL OPTION?

Is there a clearance date on either account and if so which?

I am sorry to hear that your payment is currently pending. Generally, if the payment was received as "good and services" can be held for up to 21 days. However, if you entered the tracking information, they will be released 24 hours after the delivery of the item. Here you can find more information about the release of the funds. If the payment was sent as "friends and family" instead it may be held on a pending balance up to 24 hours for review in some situations. After that time, it will be automatically released.
