I try to pay when possible extra payments since I can't pay off the full balance at once. Sometimes despite having the credit available, PayPal labels a purchase a special financial purchase and supposedly gives you a time limit to pay it off. Well, I have never seen these special financial purchases decrease or eliminated despite paying extra payments. This is not the Pay in 4 option which I would have used if I had known I was going to be double charged interest using my available credit. Talking to Synchrony Bank is useless
