Cannot link bank account because Paypal has blocked it for no reason?

I have been trying to link my bank for months, but Paypal has blocked it.

I have some money that I need to access in Paypal and they are refusing to link my bank account so that I can get it. They refuse to tell me the reason why they've blocked my bank, other than "security risk." I've had Paypal for around 20 years, and I've also had the same bank account for 20 years. The error message is useless: " This account needs a little help to link it. Contact us and we can help with that, or you can link a different account". If I contact help, I either get a nonsensical page (link to my account transactions page), or I get someone in the Phillippines or India and they make me repeatedly go through the same steps only to tell me to either wait 24 hours or there is nothing they can do to unblock my bank. They refuse to send me to someone who can unblock my bank.

I've also tried getting them to send me a bank check. Every time I request a check I get the same useless message: " There's a problem with your address. Please check it and try again. " My address is correct in Paypal, and I've lived at the same address more than 20 years. Once again, customer service is useless, they cannot explain the problem, they cannot send me a bank check, and they cannot send me to someone who can fix this situation.

What is the secret password? How do I get someone to fix this?  It's been going on for MONTHS, while Paypal uses my money for an interest free loan to fund their poorly designed website and abuse of customers.

If Paypal were a bank, this would be highly illegal.

Can't you add and withdraw to a debit card?

No, because my debit card is linked to my bank, and I can't link my bank because my bank is blocked.  For NO reason.  Other than that they want to keep my money.

A blocked bank account in the 'add bank account' section is different to the 'add card' section, have you tried to add and confirm the debit card?

I have no less than 3 cards linked.  I cannot transfer my money to ANY of them.  Again with the "contact customer service" but "customer service" is just a bunch of robots in the Philippines who cannot do anything to transfer my money to me.

PayPal wouldn’t give me my money for 30 days and now won’t let me close my account. I don’t want them I only used them a few times the last year. My payment was from someone that has paid me that way for 5 years same name and everything. This is evil

I have the same issue, except I'm trying to pay off "paypal credit".

There's zero customer support, zero way to add a bank or card, and when I call "paypal credit" they say they can't do anything it needs to be paypal, so they transfer my call which now goes to their stupid "chat" feature that has nobody on the other end.

They aren't doing this to you just to steal your money. They do the same thing to people trying to send them money.

PayPal has completely gone down the drain. It's insane.

There is an option to have a check sent to me.  That also does not work.  Does it also not work for *everyone*?  Why do they offer this option (or really any option) if it does not work?

They won’t give me money from someone who has paid me this way for the last 4/5 years… and they won’t close my account after I got the $30 they held hostages they say it’s under review. I say KANYE is right!!!
