WHY: Crypto purchases have a 48hr hold before you can transfer to an external wallet. My question is why do they restart the timer everytime you try to send. I spoke with a Rep and they told me I was causing the timer to restart by trying to send. I told her the system shows my Eth has no holds or limitations so of course i would send it so it can be useful. Thats why it shows up to send. Otherwise it would not be available to input for sending. If there is a secret timer on your paypal crypto wallet, why don't they show this to you? Otherwise they are tricking you into restarting the timer so they can hold their balance sheet longer. Total garbage. If you buy do it through metamask so the funds go to your metamask wallet and not your paypal account. Then you can avoid the ridiculous control.

Update:
I ran a clock made sure i was beyond 48hrs. Called support, had them on the phone first, they told me to try to send and it should go through. I did and now im back in another 48hr hold. Complete Garbage. Do not buy crypto through paypal period or you will be stuck holding until they push some magic button. The rep told me there's nothing they can do to work around their security system. She was in the "crypto department". This is crap. Im not using a VPN. Thats not the issue.
