Hello Dear Community, I opened a dispute but PayPal closed it in favor of the seller (StockX).
Please can someone help me.
They sent the wrong item and PayPal closed the case in their favor.
I have a video file confirming this and our email conversations confirm this.
Thanks

Unfortunately, you have little hope. I went through the same type of experience. I bought a replacement ebike battery from Aliexpress. it was defective. But, the seller and I went back/forth via Aliexpress messaging. It appeared the seller was trying to help resolve the defect. On hindsight they were stretching it out so that I would go past the 15-day Aliexpress dispute window. That was my error. But, the seller recommended I go through PayPal's resolution center. I provided plenty of data (pics of the battery showing low voltage after charging, a transcript of the Aliexpress messaging exchange, etc.)(. After a short time I receive a terse message that the seller provided evidence I had tampered with the battery. I did not! So, I asked PayPal through the Chat/Messaging to actually review the data I provided as it was apparent they did not. What ensued was several days of random, offshore reps immediately providing canned responses. But, finally I had a rep who reviewed the data, reversed the ruling in my favor, and re-opened the case. Sadly, within hours another offshore rep closed the case. It was clear the "next rep" didn't read any of the exchange and simply looked at the original decision and closed the case. Now, here is where it got even more interesting. For the last week, I have been insisting on contact from a USA-based rep. At first I received a message they would route me to a USA rep. Then, another rep came on and stated they could not. Another rep eventually turned everything around and claimed I didn't qualify for PayPal Buyer Protection because the product was used. It was defective from the beginning! I only charged it to determine it was defective and tried riding a bike 1-2 miles with the battery in place. They have claimed I altered it. I used it. It doesn't qualify. Even when I initially gave evidence the seller had stopped providing options they suggested I go back to the seller. I am out $305 and PayPal Buyer Protection has been non-existent. A merchant **bleep** me over and they did nothing. My faith in PayPal is gone. I am switching to one of the many competitors for web-based payments. Sadly, it is clear PayPal contracted their Help Center chat services offshore and to the low bidder. They got what they paid for!
I hope you find better luck. But, I doubt it.

Thanks for reply.
I know that I was unlucky in this process, but it is necessary to show that a bad event happened and "Dear PayPal" closed the dispute in favor of the wrong side.

ok then to be honest as paypal do not cover quality issues its a grey area.
If you ordered a dress for example and received a dress even if it was the wrong one paypal would close the dispute as you got what you paid for a dress.
However that does not stop you appealing by contacting them as per below OR if you funded your paypal payment via a credit card then you could see if your card issuer will chargeback for you?
Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.
1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
