Did you see invoice again before paying?

I bought tickets for Cinemark through Fandango. It was weird- I never saw the confirmation invoice before I paid- then come to find out I bought tickets at the wrong theater! If I got that confirmation before paying this wouldn’t have happened. Is PayPal legally responsible for showing a confirmation invoice before paying or sending back to the website to do this? I feel like I was hacked.

I'm sorry to hear of the confusion you experienced when making your purchase, which resulted in tickets at the wrong theater. When you make a purchase through a merchant who uses PayPal to process the payment, the transaction details are not included in the checkout flow. PayPal only processes the amount as instructed by the merchant through their integration. To request a cancelation of the tickets you purchased so you can repurchase, please reach out to the merchant directly. They will be able to issue a refund, so you can repurchase quickly.
