Dispute submission confirmation. Where's my new dispute? Is it batched later and then reflected?

Hi Community,

Thank you for your recent support on another topic.

Does a dispute submission in Resolution Center not reflect right away?

I've opened a dispute on a deposit payment sent to a seller.

At the end of dispute entry where one may attach supporting files (photos, pdfs) and fill in a 2000 character supporting narrative and finally submit,  I've hit "Submit" and I'm directed to a login in screen.  Well I am already logged in to effect the dispute.   Has my dispute been received?  Do I need to login a 2nd time at this prompt to effect its transmission?

I've tried both ignoring the 2nd login screen after hitting "Submit" and going back in again, rewriting the narrative, hitting "Submit" and logging in this time at the 2nd login screen.

I cannot see either submission attempt in my case history.  Nor any confirmation or receipt.

What's needed here?  Or does PayPal somehow batch these silently and then one sees their dispute later?

A bit disconcerting.

Thank you,

B

Hello @basskleff1,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!

I understand your concern about the dispute on the account and you would like to confirm the status of it. Please be informed that once you have submitted the dispute you will be notified to your email along with the dispute ID and etc. Kindly note that you won't be able to file a case on a pending transaction. Make sure you're reporting the charge once completed. In this case, please check the email inbox again, spam and junk. If you haven't got any notification, you may submit the case again. Here's the Help Center Article to know more information. Since mentioned that you did not receive submission confirmation, I would recommend you to contact the PayPal Customer support team through the available contact options on our website. Support is also available through Facebook private messages or Twitter direct messages.

 Regards,

Ayesha
