Funds deducted from card, payment not showing up in Activity Feed

I paid $24.99 for a subscription to a service.
The funds were deducted from my VISA Debit Card.

The transaction still shows as processing on the service provider's site, and my PayPal Activity does NOT have this transaction listed.
Any and all help is appreciated.

Did you log into your paypal account to pay or did you pay as a guest buyer via your card?

I did log into my Paypal account. I have the charge marked as "VISA-PAYPAL *STARCLUSTER" on my bank's transaction history.

Welcome back to the PayPal Community! I understand your concern about your recent payment not reflecting in your PayPal account. I can understand your concern. If you see a PayPal transaction on your bank, credit or debit card statement, but can’t find the transaction in your PayPal account, it’s likely that your purchase was completed through the PayPal guest checkout. A guest checkout transaction happens when PayPal is used as the payment processor, however you may not have logged in to your account to perform the transaction. I would request you to please check your inbox to see if you have received any email or receipt from PayPal related to this purchase.

If the payment was processed by logging to your account, you can be able to see the details of the payment in your activity page. I suggest you to login to your account using desktop/laptop to see the payment details in your activity page. If you're not able to see the payment details after trying in a different device, please get in touch with PayPal team to check this further.

Hi. I got in touch with the Message Center and they said my bank denied the transaction. I got in touch with my bank reporting this issue as I assume the funds have simply been held and are in floating status.

Thanks for reaching back out to us with what you found! 

It sounds like PayPal's Customer Support was able to confirm there aren't any completed transactions on a guest account. If that's the case, then there's likely a pending authorization on your bank's side still. An authorization is a temporary hold on the money. If the money isn't collected due to a denied transaction, most banks will remove that authorization hold after 7-10 days. However, some can take up to 30 days. If you still see the payment showing on your bank account after 30 days, please grab a copy of your recent bank statement and contact Customer Support again for further investigation.
