How can I add more than $100 from bank to my PayPal account?

My debit card works but it's $100 max. I get into fraud alert mode if I transfer too many times to get the amount I want transferred. Im having trouble getting that bank account to link. Is that the issue? Just debit card limit at $100?

As a buyer you don't need funds in your balance as paypal will take payment for purchases from any linked bank account or card.

Or is there another reason you need a large amount in your balance?

Good morning. I am selling a few things on eBay just to clear the house from stuff we don’t need. I want to put those funds into a separate account so I can save to buy something else I probably don’t need. eBay won’t let you keep those funds with them any more. And they don’t use PayPal for sellers either. So I transfer funds to PayPal to save the money.
