Unbelievable, no way to disable currency conversion is a really bad change, it's just not worth it, I'm ditching PayPal in favor of just using my card directly until we have this back. Edit: OK I found there's still a way to disable conversion for recurring charges, rage mode off, staying with PayPal for now 🙂

One more reason to move to Amazon, as nowaday 90% of the people is already doing....God bless Amazon, and eBay and its business partner Paypal shall go out of business....as they are now old school and outdated....

FYI, PayPal is using a conversion rate that looks to be about 10% less favorable than my credit card issuer at the time of this writing (Discover).
While it is unfortunate that PayPal is too tiny to compete in a space where other financial institutions give customers choices, I appreciate knowing that this is a feature that people need to use competing payment platforms to enjoy.
I have a bank card of TBC (bank in Georgia, country) with USD currency on it. And I have a Paypal wallet with USD. Why should i need this currency conversion when I try to top up my card?
If you still have this issue, contact PayPal support and ask them to change the withdrawal currency from GEL to USD. Also make sure to send them the last 4 digits of your card. I had the same issue and they fixed it for me
