Me too, I remove PayPal account too.
Unacceptable, I buy product with USD, my bank VISA account also USD but PayPal still conversion to my country currency instead. Speechless.

One more reason to move to Amazon, as nowaday 90% of the people is already doing....God bless Amazon, and eBay and its business partner Paypal shall go out of business....as they are now old school and outdated....

Thank you for the info. I appreciate that this is the first result when googling how to disable currency conversion.
FYI, PayPal is using a conversion rate that looks to be about 10% less favorable than my credit card issuer at the time of this writing (Discover).
While it is unfortunate that PayPal is too tiny to compete in a space where other financial institutions give customers choices, I appreciate knowing that this is a feature that people need to use competing payment platforms to enjoy.

I have a bank card of TBC (bank in Georgia, country) with USD currency on it. And I have a Paypal wallet with USD. Why should i need this currency conversion when I try to top up my card?

If you still have this issue, contact PayPal support and ask them to change the withdrawal currency from GEL to USD. Also make sure to send them the last 4 digits of your card. I had the same issue and they fixed it for me

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
