I am attempting to find an invoice ID for the first transaction so that I can get a refund from a company that charged me for a service I had already paid for elsewhere. The standard online information on this seems to be outdated:
How do I find my PayPal Invoice ID?
- Log into the Paypal account.
- Select the History tab.
- Locate the first transaction made for the subscription or game purchase, and select "Details" ...
- Scroll down the page, and the line right under "Order Description" should be marked "Invoice ID"
There is no History tab. When I locate the first transaction made, there is no "Details" to select. And though there is a transaction ID I can see no Invoice ID. This is true both on my desktop and on the phone. If you have desktop instructions I will take them, but phone is better than nothing. Thanks.
