How do you cancel a payment being made through bank account withdrawal?

I've been paying for a service with PayPal withdrawing funds from my bank account, so no automatic payment

from a PayPal account.....I need to cancel the service.....the seller says it's up to me to cancel the account, but

how would I do that?

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

then you may have set it up directly from your bank account or card, so check your online banking direct debits or debit cards.

Yes, it is deducted from a debit card....but there's nothing listed on my PayPal page under

automatic payments...even though i essentially have one.....it's just that it's not coming directly

out of a PayPal account.....the seller said I need to cancel through PayPal, but how do I do thaT?

I guess i could switch payment method to a PayPal account, and put some money in it, but don't

see how that would cancel the account......
