How to cancel pending top-up transaction made with a no longer existing bank account?

Topped up my negative balance and absent-mindedly chose an old bank account that I no longer have access to in the process. The transaction was made on 30/07, and it's still pending. If it doesn't go through, PayPal may forcibly take it out of my account. If I remove this bank account from my account, will the transaction be cancelled along with it?

Is there any way to contact PayPal customer service themselves? I literally cannot find anything except calling.

Hi @selinu,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the community! To my knowledge, it is not possible to cancel a top-up action. If the bank account is closed, the bank may decline the request. Removing the bank account would not affect a request that was already made.
To contact PayPal customer service, click Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website for contact options. You may wish instead to reach out to the bank, however, to determine how they will respond to the request.
I hope this is resolved quickly for you!
Olivia
