I have a duplicate pending payment on my bank account for over a week, when does this disappear?

I made a purhcase that didn't go through to merchant as my computer did an upgrade, so i completed it again.  I ended up with two (duplicate) pending paypal transactions on my bank account.  The second on went through and the order with the merchant completed, however the first (duplicate) transaction remains pending on my bank account - it's been over a week.  How do i remove this?  I can't find out how to ring paypal and the help app doesn't give me the answer.

If its pending on your bank account and not your paypal account then talk to your bank.

If its pending on your bank account AND your paypal account then it should time out at 30 days.
