Issue modifying auto payment amount

Is anyone else having issues modifying the auto payment amount? I tried to change it and it keeps saying it can’t be more than the balance, well it isn’t. I even tried a payment amount of .01 and it still gives me the error. I tried to inquire through chat and I got no where with them and they kept giving me answers to my questions that weren’t remotely relevant but that is another issue altogether. Then they told me oh the is Synchony bank and I have to talk to PayPal about that. Doesn’t make sense given it is an auto pay function to pay them. Well I have tried multiple times to chat with PayPal and no one ever seems available for chat.

Yup I have had the same issue for the past two months. I also didn’t get anywhere with them. The person I chatted with didn’t understand. Very frustrating. Last month it finally worked after returning and retrying.

Update: I just chatted with PayPal and this time the agent understood immediately what was happening and has now escalated the issue. Will report back when I hear from them again
