My account seems to be showing an old bank card

Hi

Something odd seems to have happened to my current paypal account.  It is now only showing a bank card which expired in 2020 and therefore won't let me buy anything via paypal.

What is strange is that i have already made some purchases via paypal in May 2021 so how was this possible if only a card which expired in 2020 is linked to the account?  As far as i am aware my current card which expires in 2025 was linked to the account but it just seems to have disappeared.

I have tried to add a new card and put my current card back in but it won't seem to let me so i can no longer use paypal for purchases.

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you're running into some issues with a recent card. This definitely sounds like an interesting concern. Are you paying via the mobile app or through a browser? If you're paying through the mobile app, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If you're paying through the browser, I'd recommend clearing your browser's cache, cookies, and history, then logging back in to see if the account is showing the correct card info.

Hi 

I am using a laptop.

I have tried clearing my history, cache etc but it still does not show my latest bank card.

Would it be possible to look at how payments have been made successfully in May 2022 and April 2022 if i only had a card which expired in 2020 on my account?
