PENDING CANCELLATION

hello, I made a payment via paypal, for the purchase of products in an online store.

the payment appears in my PayPal account,

however I discovered that without my consent an automatic payment has been created to this store.

I immediately tried to deactivate this automatic payment (not the payment for my purchase),

but the process does not complete, as it is stuck on the indication "PENDING CANCELLATION".

thank you.

Some companies do set up a pre approved payment to enable payment for your order. It does not mean they will keep charging you, its only convenient if you order from them again.

Wait until your order has processed and arrived and then you may have the option to mark inactive. You may not be able to do it now until your order has cleared / paid.

First of all, thank you very much for the response.
the most correct thing would be to ask the customer if he wishes to activate automatic payment in a store, while now the customer is forced to look for ways to deactivate something that has been imposed on him WITHOUT his consent.

Yep its a bit of a pain but sometimes its useful if you want to order from them again.
