PayPal in 4 rejected??

What is wrong with Payin4? I used to be able to use it but recently it's said sorry we cannot offer you this plan. Customer service said I don't meet one of their criteria but won't tell me which. I have great credit and I work full-time. So this makes no sense to me.

As its a short term loan then its up to paypal if they offer it to you or not.

@kernowlass Sorry but, no, that's not how that works. You use a product for 2years or more without defaulting then they stop offering it to you because they feel like it with no actual reason. That's what happens when AI runs a system and not actual humans.

Preapproval is not a guarantee of approval as disclosed in the application process. Each application will be assessed at the time of purchase to see if you are eligible for credit. For privacy reasons, only you can see why your application was declined.

For one, they do not inform you as to why you have been declined, they simply say "sorry we cannot offer this plan to you at this time." Whilst it is up to their discretion they need to be telling customers why they are declined specifically when there is no logical explanation for it. As stated in my previous response this particular service is manned by AI and it faulted to a T. You have yet to give a sufficient explanation as to why this is occuring. If you haven't got the answer I suggest you allow another person, perhaps a staff member of PayPal, answer adequately. A simple search online shows that this issue is widespread and notorious for happening. It needs to be rectified or they should simply stop advertising this as a service they have as it does not function as advertised.

In the unlikely chance a moderator decides to post on here they will give you  the same answer that I have done as will Paypal customer services. 

Comes down to, if they offer it then use it, if they don't offer it then you can't !!!

However found a 'moderators' post more or less saying the same thing that I have if that helps you !!!

Unfortunately, Pay in 4 may not be able available on every transaction. If you don't see Pay in 4 available during checkout, we would recommend using an alternate funding source to complete your transaction.
