PayPal sent a refund to my bank but I haven't received it and I've waited almost 2 weeks

PayPal refunded me on the 29/09/2023 and said it should arrive in my bank by 3/10/2023. It's now 11/10/2023 and neither my bank or PayPal can find these funds. Someone must know where my money is, both company's are supposed to protect my money not lose it

If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card.
Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account. Paypal say allow 30 days for a debit or credit card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long.
(Can vary according to country though).

This was a refund I received from a merchant, I've received payments like this before and never had the issue of my money not arriving in the bank when it was stated to.
