Payment declining

I'm trying to claim a free Nitro promotion from Discord but my attempts seem to keep on getting declined. I tried contacting discord but they said that this is an issue regarding with Paypal. My account and card has been verified already and I can't find an answer to my issue through Paypal's website.

Sorry to hear that you're not able to complete the purchase using your Discord card to claim the offer. I understand that would be upsetting you! Not to worry! Every time you make a payment from your PayPal account it goes through a series of filters to determine how much potential risk may be involved. If the system deems any risk, the system may temporarily block the payment from going through or limit the payment options. In such situations, I recommend that you to try again at a later date by clearing your cache and cookies from your internet browser or try to use a different internet browser/device.
