Payment failed with doordash and patreon etc

why every time I deactivate an automatic payment I am never able to pay the merchant again. It says each time that the payment failed . I see it in the inactive section but IMPOSSIBLE to reactivate it and it causes the same problem with all merchants such as doordash, patreon etc etc. What is this bug??

I do understand that you have issue with your payments being failed. Please reach out to the Support Team during business hours by clicking the contact us option at the bottom of PayPal page to get help with your issue. If your unable to login or are not in access of your PayPal account, you can connect with us via phone call as "as a Guest" (this does not require you to sign in to your PayPal account).
