Payment refund

An international seller issued a refund for my payment. My PayPal account shows the refund pending and support chat says that it is subject to echeque clearing in the seller's bank account. However, seller has said that the payment is cleared and it is on PayPal to refund the money. It's been over 12 days since the seller has refunded the money and it is still pending.

May have cleared the sellers bank account but echeques have to go via ACH in batches.

Allow 5-7 business days depending on their banks processing times.

Got nothing to do with paypal as they can't credit you funds that they have not received yet.

So this is 5-7 additional working days from the day the payment processed from the seller's account? Also, could you please let me know if I need to have a business account in order to receive refunds?
