Payment was automatically converted to USD via paypal despite setting to convert with the bank

I've set up those subscriptions for years, and there wasn't any problems until mid Oct. I reached out  to the customer service, and they accused my bank of not being able to handle transactions in other currencies which is apparently not true, because the payments I made without paypal was billed correctly using the corresponding currency. Any one have the same problem and know how to resolve it?

I tried two cards, VISA and mastercard, different banks, both card have a USD currency, but automatic payments charged in my local currency, however, manual payment in USD is ok with same card.

I founded the problem around same time. tried to contact support agent, but they are not online.

The same problem. First occurred in October 2024. It seems global problem. There are many complains about this issue on my local  forums.  Automatic payments conversion is set to Bank, but paypal still converts all payments to EUR.

That's true, it happened to me as well. It's all started from Oct. 17th. Everythin went well before that day, what's going on?
