Payments on all websites stuck processing

Hey,

For the past week, whenever I try to make a payment via PayPal on a website, it gets stuck processing after I log in.

Today I tried again, and after signing in via 2 factor authentication, it got stuck saying "getting your wallet.." indefinitely.

There seems to be no help topics about this issue?

Cheers,

Jack

Hello @jackjoyce8,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!

I am sorry to know know that you're having issued while processing payments and I know this can be concerning. As per the information that you're shared, it seems like this might be due to technical glitch on the website. In this case, I would recommend you try some troubleshooting such as clearing cache and cookies or try using different browser or device to see if that works.

Regards,
Ayesha

Same thing for me.

I can get around it by going back in the browser and the redoing the paypal entry.

Also I think the problem may occur if you have more than 1 credit card maybe?

Same problem with CHROME on my computer only, it works using another browser (like safari) and on the phone apps

Yep, same for me.  After using Authenticator the browser hangs on "Getting Your Wallet".  This is the same whichever site I use for a purchase.  The only workaround seems to be to use the back button on the browser which then brings up the confirm payment dialogue as if the authentication has worked.  Its a nuisance.  This is an issue that Paypal or Goggle need to fix.

Hello @Temp20231213W and everyone!

Thanks for stopping by the PayPal Community, and welcome to those who are new!

I'm sorry to hear that you're all having difficulty making a payment because it gets stuck while it is being processed. I have a few troubleshooting steps that might help. First, please ensure you have a strong internet connection. To do this, I would restart your device and router or disconnect and reconnect it if you use mobile data. Next, clear your cache and cookies on your favorite browser. If you're using the PayPal Mobile App, clear the App's Cache in your phone's App Settings.

If you still aren't able to make the payment after these steps, please try another device. However, if that doesn't work, I suggest reaching out to Customer Support through one of these options

I hope you're all able to make your payments soon!
