Paypal.me + Invoice

I want to ask a client to pay me money. Should I send an Invoice or a paypal.me link? Can the client pay with credit card either way?

If the client has a paypal account then they can pay using any funding source they wish to.

However an invoice is always best as you can fully describe the item you are selling.

This may help in a later dispute that may arise for item received but not as described.
