Problem with Debit Card from RBC (Student Banking Account Checking)

Hey Everyone. I have a problem using a student banking account checking from RBC and it is linked, but steam gives me this “This purchase failed, Steam was not able to accept payment from your payment provider.” How do I fix this or what do I need to do?

This error sounds like it could be with your bank account directly rather than PayPal. However, I will advise of some troubleshooting steps you can take on PayPal that may help. 

Please ensure your bank account is confirmed and has your own name registered to it. I would also advise against using any VPNs. To provide one of the safest online payment services, our internal security system reviews every payment before it's approved. Occasionally, we must change a payment method. When this happens, it's not a reflection of you or your account activities, but rather we've noticed a pattern associated with higher-than-normal risk.

I would, however, get in touch with your bank provider too in order to ensure there are no blocks on their end too. I hope this can help
