Send money (semi-) anonymously?

I want to send money (less than $100) to a person who lives in a different country within the next week. They know my e-mail address but not my full name (and I'd love to keep it that way) and I definitely don't want them to know my full address. I don't expect anything in return, so best to see it as a donation.

If I send the money via "friends and family", what kind of information are they going to see?

Is there a way to hide at least my address from them?
