Can't figure out this monthly transaction! It is $10.00 every month that shows up at: PAYPAL DES:INST XFER ID:UNITED CARD INDN:STEVE MXXXD CO ID:PAYPALSI77 WEB on my bank statement but I don't see this transaction on my PayPal this month or any month. It has been going on for years and I'm trying to close the bank account but it won't let me because this transaction keeps coming up. AND... I don't have this bank account linked to my account!!!!
It sounds like it is some sort of subscription that was set up. It could be that the merchant uses PayPal and it was set up using a guest account which is why you are not seeing it on your PayPal account. The best option would be to contact your bank and request that they firstly cancel the agreement for you and ask them for more information on it. You could also contact us directly by phone and we can run a search on the bank account that is being used to see if we can locate a PayPal account.
